This policy explains what personal data vidgen collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service.
1. What we collect
Account information: your name and email address, and your Google profile image if you sign in with Google.
Content you provide: the prompts you write, the reference images you upload, and the videos generated for you.
Usage and billing records: your credit balance, credit transactions and order/subscription history.
Technical logs: basic information such as IP address and browser user agent, used for security and abuse prevention.
Payment details are handled entirely by PayPal. We never see or store your card numbers or bank details.
2. How we use it
To create and secure your account, generate your videos, keep track of credits and payments, send transactional emails (such as verification and password reset), provide support, and detect and prevent fraud and abuse. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Service providers we share data with
Cloudflare — hosting, database and file storage.
Google — sign-in, if you choose "Continue with Google".
PayPal — payment processing for credit packs and subscriptions.
BytePlus / ByteDance — video generation. Your prompts and reference images are sent to them to produce your videos.
Resend — delivery of transactional emails.
These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose data if required by law.
4. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a language preference cookie (vg_locale). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual generated videos yourself from My Videos.
To delete your account and associated data, email support@654323.xyz from the address linked to your account. Some records (such as payment records) may be kept longer where required by law or for fraud prevention.
6. Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords and access controls to protect your data. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@654323.xyz.
vidgen is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will try to notify you by email or on the site.
