Docs & FAQ
Everything you need to know about creating with vidgen.
How do credits work?
100 credits equal $1.00 USD. Each video costs credits per second of footage, depending on the model and resolution you pick — from 25 to 150 credits/sec. The exact cost is shown before you generate. Packs start at $5 and credits never expire.
What if a generation fails?
If a render fails or is blocked by the safety filter, the full cost is refunded to your balance automatically.
Can I use the videos commercially?
You can use the videos you generate in your own projects, including commercial ones, subject to our Terms and the content rules below.
What are reference images for?
Upload one or more images to guide the look of your video — a product, a character, a location or a style. JPG, PNG and WEBP are supported.
How long does a video take?
Most videos finish within a few minutes. You can close the page — your video keeps rendering and appears in My Videos when it is ready.
What content is not allowed?
No sexual content involving minors, real-person deepfakes without consent, graphic violence, hate, or content that infringes others' rights. Requests that break these rules are blocked and refunded.
